ITS WONDERFUL TO EDUCATE

At the Center for Sharing we encourage everyone to come and make good use of their time. It is a place where new friendships are made, family bonding’s are strengthened, careers take shape, and meaningful relationships are formed without any expectations but purely with a sense of service to one another.

It was therefore wonderful to see Daniel Brammer (Dan) help Alondra Lucatero who is nineteen years old and pursuing her Early Childhood Education in her school work. Dan has always been a very willing participant volunteering at the Evening Program whenever he gets time from his busy schedule. I spoke to Alondra after the class and she said that she always comes to the Collegium whenever she needs help with her school work as someone is always willing to help her. She said that at the Collegium she gets to be taught in an atmosphere that is peaceful and safe and more importantly she is given all the attention she needs.

At the Center for Sharing we are delighted to see life’s being transformed over a single encounter. Sometimes all it needs is a word of encouragement or a simple deed of kindness. We are grateful for the fact that we are able to provide that space for anyone seeking to spend their time in a meaningful manner in a peaceful setting.
