This month is very special for Broetje Family Trust. We are celebrating the graduation of Jose Duarte, the first RISE scholar graduate! On June 17th, Jose will be receiving his AA in Welding Technology from Columbia Basin College.
“It’s an honor to be the first graduate because I grew up in Tierra Vida most of my early childhood and having this support from my community is awesome! If I would have moved anywhere else, it wouldn’t be like this. It’s a special community and hopefully communities like this grow everywhere.” he shared.
