Remembering
In today’s world, development and peacebuilding organizations and communities face profound challenges that can often feel overwhelming. Although this period feels ruptured and hopeless, remembering the courageous and impactful work our partners are doing around the world renews my energy and encourages me to persevere in our collective and enduring mission: to care for the earth and build holistic, healing, and flourishing communities that will continue to bear sustainable fruit for future generations.
A Season of Harvest and Hope
Fall has always held a special place here at the Broetje Family Trust. As the orchards around our region come to fruition and the long work of the growing season is gathered in, we’re reminded that harvest is never the work of a single moment. It’s the result of seeds planted long ago, of patient tending through heat and uncertainty, and of many hands working together. That’s why, for us, this season is about both harvest and hope: gratitude for what has grown, and trust in what is still taking root.
